Great tent - Low price, March 8, 2010 By The Russian (Ozark, Missouri) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1.0 AL Tent - 1-Person 3-Season (Sports) Finally, a one person tent that will actually fit someone that is over 6ft tall!! This tent had ample room, and I'm 6' 3". Easy setup. The weight and size of the tent takes up very little space in your backpack. The only thing that could make this tent better would be to have a little bigger vestibule.

Almost perfect one man tent., July 18, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1.0 AL Tent - 1-Person 3-Season (Sports) The Mountaineering Mystique is good value for a three season one person tent. The biggest drawback to this tent is that it is not free standing and therefore must be firmly anchored to the ground. Not a problem if your setting up on a non rocky surface. However, if your planing a trip on very rocky terrain you'll probably want a different style tent. On the positive, this tent is very light and easy to assemble with plenty of space for the average backpacker. With the rain fly attached the tent does fairly well in light wind and cold temperatures. I have used this tent at elevations over seven thousand feet in fairly cold conditions and felt comfortable with a light wind blowing and a little snow falling. A good choice for moderate backpacking trips where you don't expect high winds or expect to have to setup on on very rocky ground.

Have not used in rain, but I use a tarp over my tents anyway. Worked great and seems to be made of quality materials. Happy with purchase.
