Highly recommended, August 16, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 4 Tent (Sports) An excellent tent for the price.
Easy for one person to put up, but because of the height of the tent, the rain fly is a bit difficult to get in place. Also, the eight rain fly tie down lines tend to get tangled up. I have found that unless there are extremely high wind conditions, you really don't need them, so I just coiled them up and secured them with wire ties.
It has withstood one very heavy rainfall with no noticeable leakage. More than I can say for any other tent I have used.
Ventilation is great. Plenty of screened panels that can be opened. The "hinged" door is nice too. The screened room is a real plus, but it would have been even more so had they extended the tent floor to cover it too.
It is difficult to get it rolled up enough to get it back in the carrying case, but that is true of every tent I have ever owned.
Very happy with it thus far.

Slightly leaky but great overall., September 30, 2009 By Huck (Baton Rouge, LA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Coleman WeatherMaster Screened 4 Tent (Sports) GET A FEW CANS OF CAMP DRY. This tent leaked fairly bad the first time we used it at Woolly Hollow state park in Arkansas. I think the rain fly diverts water directly onto the back side windows and on the seam where the door hinges and ours leaked pretty bad at the point where the mesh meets the bottom part of the window. Those nights it rained a good bit and we "fixed" the leak by detaching the rain fly on the back poles and tying it to the guy lines then to a tree, so the water would run off the very back of the tent more, instead of dripping right at key seams, this seemed to fix the problem. We have since put 3 coatings of camp dry and used a couple of tubes of coleman seam sealer and this should be a great tent from now own. (guaranteed not to leak......after 3 coatings of camp dry) should be there slogan.
On a positive note, I haven't had a tent from Coleman that hasn't leaked yet, but learn from me, always seal them with camp dry or similar product and seam sealer... Read more
